Good to Know

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers from Liam — the owner who shows up and does the work.

Safety & your home

No. Instead of blasting your home with high pressure, I use professional, biodegradable solutions that break down algae, mold and mildew at the source. It’s gentler on your siding and roof — and the results last far longer.

Yes. The solutions are highly biodegradable, and I rinse all plants, shrubs and electrical components before and after every single job. That step is standard — I never skip it.

Yes, it’s safe. I’d just keep pets inside for the day after the service while everything dries and settles, as a simple precaution.

No. As long as your exterior is in normal, waterproof condition, soft washing is designed specifically for these surfaces — including around windows and doors, where it’s actually gentler than pressure washing.

No — it’s the opposite. Because I use zero pressure, soft washing is the method shingle manufacturers actually recommend. High-pressure washing is what can void a warranty, which is exactly why I don’t do it.

On the day of service

No. I do plenty of jobs while customers are at work. Just leave the driveway clear, windows closed, and room for me to park on the street.

Move cars out of the driveway, close all windows, and leave room to park on the street. Bring in any potted plants or outdoor pillows you’d like set aside — patio furniture can usually stay put.

Just your outdoor water spigot — a standard hose bib is all I need. I take care of everything else.

A house wash is usually two hours or less. Adding gutter brightening brings it to about three, and a full package with roof cleaning can take up to four hours.

Your results

House washing keeps your home looking great until about the same time next year, when a yearly maintenance wash is recommended. Roof cleaning and gutter brightening last much longer — often six or seven years.

They’re living organisms — spores are always in the environment and will eventually resettle on any surface. Soft washing eliminates what’s there completely, and a yearly wash keeps it from building back up.

Rain won’t affect the results. The treatment works on the organic growth at the source, so once it’s gone, rain has no impact.
